These are the widely used terminologies around Pippily System

  • Community ID - The unique id of a community in Pippily system.
  • Community Hub - This is the main portal automatically built for the community. This contains all the information about the community from business directory, events calendar, job board, opportunities board, press release, deals and offers. The content of this portal includes all posts from both community managers and its members. This is not the community's official website.
  • Community Website - This is the official website of the community. Most of the time, Pippily provides the website for each community while some hosts it on their own. We still provide widgets for self-managed websites to integrate Pippily into it.
  • Community Manager - A person who is managing the community.
  • Community Directory - The business directory of the community.
  • Community Events Calendar - The events calendar of the community including public and member submitted events.
  • Community Clicker App - The official mobile app for the community containing community directory, events calendar, job board and deals/offers.
  • Instant Ad Writer - A scheduled broadcast email sent to members containing top performing catalog items to encourage members to create promotions for their catalog.
  • Instant Ad Response - An AI assistant to provide information about a community.
  • Broadcast Email - A Constant Contact integration and Pippily integration that enables a community do broadcast emails like newsletters to its subscribers and members.
  • Community Connect - A member-only page listing all new items in the community.
  • Community Forum - An internal forum for the community and its members.

For Members

  • Catalog - Serves as a marketing landing page of a business. This can be a simple catalog or a full blown online store. It also contains all the jobs, opportunities, deals and offers posted by a business.
  • Member Dashboard - This is where a member manages their catalog. From creating ads, deals, custom pages, job posts, opportunities to managing their community subscription, the member dashboard is the core page for that. All posts by a member is also automatically posted to the Community Hub.
  • Business Clicker App - The official mobile app that serves as portable Member Dashboard to manage a catalog.

Technical

  • Hub CNAME - An alternative url for a community. By default a community hub can be accessed by going to https://docu.team/community/592 with the last digits being their community ID. For communities who want to keep their branding consistent, Pippily allows custom subdomain for the community hub (e.g. https://hub.youdomain.com). The subdomain will always be "hub".
  • Stripe Keys - Keys needed to connect a community to stripe to serve as a payment or billing gateway.
  • Constant Contact Keys - Keys needed to connect a community to their Constant Contact account to send broadcast emails or campaigns.
